U.S. stocks hesitate as technology weigh

U.S. stocks on Friday toss off the size of earlier gain, with in order technology share down the most. “Technology had the main run last year, so it’s more of a technological issue that this group has come up for sale,” said Owen Fitzpatrick, head of U.S. fairness group at Deutsche Bank. The Dow Jones manufacturing Average (INDU 10,067, -53.36, -0.53%) remained up 12.84 points at 10,133.3. The S&P 500 Index (SPX 1,074, -10.66, -0.98%) fell less than 1 point to 1,084.07. The Nasdaq Composite Index (COMP 2,147, -31.65, -1.45%) fell 7.74 points to 2,171.26.
